About Me
Get to know your photographer
Most families think they’ll always have more time, until one day… they don’t. One moment, the kids are little. The next, they’re young adults, and somewhere along the way… you realise it’s been years since you were all properly in a photo together.
That’s where I come in.
I work with families at all stages of life who are beginning to feel just how quickly things change, and how important it is to capture what they have now.
Because moments like this are the ones most families don’t realise they’ll miss… until they’re gone.
Meet Your Photographer…
I’m Dan
I help families preserve what matters most before time changes it.
I’m a dad to twins who are now 22… and like most parents, I still can’t quite believe how quickly that happened. I’ve lived through all the stages: kindergarten, school, sport, the busy years… and now watching them grow into young adults. It’s been one of the greatest parts of my life, and what it’s shown me is this: the days can feel long, but the years move incredibly fast. Some of the moments you think you’ll always remember quietly pass by.
My mum is now 96, and while I feel incredibly lucky to still have her, it’s also a reminder of just how valuable this time really is. Because every stage of life brings something different, and every stage is worth holding onto. That’s what led me here. With over 30 years of experience behind the camera, I’ve come to appreciate just how powerful a photograph can be, not just now, but years down the track. The laughter. The connection. The way your family is, right now. That’s what I love capturing. Because one day, these won’t just be photos, they’ll be the moments your family looks back on and remembers exactly how it felt to be here.
More than a photographer… Someone who makes sure you’re in the story too
If you’re like most mums, your camera roll is full of everyone else. The kids, your partner, birthdays, holidays, milestones… But very few photos of you, and even fewer with everyone together.
That’s not because you don’t care. It’s because you’re the one holding everything together.
The organiser. The memory keeper. The one making sure it all happens.
So you end up behind the camera instead of in the photos, and over time, that starts to matter more than you expect.
My philosophy…
What I’ve learnt
With over 30 years of experience in photography, I’ve seen how much a single image can come to mean over time.
Not now. Not straight after the shoot.
But years later.
When things have changed.
When people aren’t there anymore.
When those moments become memories.
That’s when they matter most, and that’s why I do this.
Who this is for
I work with families who…
Know time is fleeting
Value having something meaningful to hold onto
Want more than just photos on their phone
Want everyone captured together… properly
Especially mums who are ready to finally step into the frame and be part of the memories they’ve been preserving for everyone else.
If you’re here, you already feel it…
You didn’t land on this page by accident.
Something’s been sitting in the back of your mind: “We really should do photos again.” And if you’re honest… You know why, because things are changing, and you don’t want to miss it.
