Booking & Scheduling

  • You can book your session or redeem a gift voucher by getting in touch via our contact form, phone or email.

  • The family legacy experience includes:

    • A relaxed family photoshoot (1-hour max)

    • Extended families welcome (30 people max)

    • All combinations of individuals and groups photographed

    • Your choice of outdoor or in-home location

      • Travel included across the Sutherland Shire and most areas in Sydney

    • Professional curation and image editing

    • An in-home or online guided viewing appointment

  • We guide you through the entire process, from choosing a date to coordinating family members, so it feels simple and stress-free. We are also happy to liase with family members on your behalf if you prefer a hands-off experience.

  • Kids don’t usually show up excited for family photos, and that’s completely normal. The good news is, they don’t need to. We keep things relaxed and natural, so nothing feels forced or awkward. Most of the time, they settle in quickly and end up enjoying it more than they expected, and later on, those photos often become some of the most meaningful ones you have.

  • That’s absolutely okay. Sessions can be tailored to suit everyone’s comfort. We can choose accessible locations or even photograph your family at home, so no one misses out.

  • We understand that plans change, especially with families.

    If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 72 hours’ notice where possible. We do not charge a cancellation fee, and we’ll always aim to be flexible and reasonable.

  • Sessions are designed to be relaxed and unhurried, giving us enough time to capture everyone naturally without feeling rushed. Usually about an hour depending on the size of your family.

  • If conditions such as rain, strong winds, illness, or other unavoidable circumstances arise, we’ll work with you to reschedule and suggest an alternative date and time.

  • Bookings and gift vouchers are valid for up to 12 months (unless otherwise stated). However, if for some reason you are unable to use your gift voucher within this period, we are always happy to extend.

  • Yes. We specialise in relaxed outdoor family photography.

    Our collection of signature locations includes:

    • Kurnell - Kamay Botany Bay National Park

    • Cronulla - Darook Park South

    • Burraneer - Burraneer Park

    • Sans Souci - Flatty Beach

    • Stanwell Park - Stanwell Park Beach Reserve

  • Yes. In-home family photography is a popular option, especially if some family members have limited mobility. Your home doesn’t need to be perfect; we work with natural light and simple spaces to create beautiful images.

  • Yes. We photograph families across the Sutherland Shire and surrounding Sydney suburbs.

  • Yes. We specialise in extended family photography up to 30 people.

  • Yes. During an extended family session, all combinations of groups and individuals are photographed, including:

    • Separate families

    • Grandparents & Grandchildren

    • Siblings

    • Individuals

    • Any combination of people of your choosing

  • Absolutely, they’re part of the family too. You’re very welcome to bring your dog along, and they often add a really natural, relaxed element to the session. Just let us know when booking so we can plan accordingly and choose a suitable location where everyone (including your dog) is comfortable.

What to Wear & Bring

  • We recommend that you wear something that represents your family’s personalities. Your family photographs will be on display in your home years to come, so it’s best to feel comfortable, genuine and relaxed.

    We suggest:

    • Classic denim and white

    • Tan and white

    • Avoiding large logos or images that date quickly

    • Choose clothing that reflect your family’s style and personality

  • Yes. Feel free to bring a simple change of clothes. This can add more variety for you to choose from when you choose your final images. You are also welcome to bring any props that are meaningful to you and your family.

After the Photoshoot

  • Your images are usually ready for viewing within 7–14 days after your photoshoot. We’ll organise a guided viewing appointment either in your own home or online.

  • You’ll view a gallery of fully edited images, typically anywhere from 20 to 50 images, depending on the size of your family.

  • Yes. All the images you view are professionally curated, edited and retouched.

Viewing Your Photos

  • After your photoshoot, we’ll organise a guided viewing appointment either in your own home or online. There, you will be able to select what you would like to keep. Some clients choose to keep just a handful of images that mean the most, while others choose a complete record for their family legacy.

  • Most families choose to invest between $600 and $2,000+, depending on how they’d like to preserve this stage of their family’s story.

  • Yes. Prints and products are available for purchase at the time of viewing.
